Family Style!
I love to make big family-style meals this time of year, using fresh ingredients and experimenting a little with different herbs, vegetables and even the choice of protein.
From freshly-caught fish (definitely a Miami perk) to roast chicken or even brisket during Passover, being in the kitchen with family and friends makes me so happy. Today I'm sharing my recipe for roasted white fish.
What You'll Need
- Fresh white fish (can be red snapper, grouper, sea bass, etc)
- Fresh herbs like rosemary, thyme, parsley or cilantro
- Garlic
- White onion
- Veggies (red pepper, tomatoes, mushrooms, zucchini, etc)
- Olive oil
- Sea salt
- Pepper
How-To Make:
1. Clean + fillet the fish (or keep whole, clean + stuff with below)
2. Add sea salt to fish
3. Slice white onion and lay underneath fish
4. Rub minced garlic all over
5. Lay fresh herbs on top like thyme or rosemary
6. Add your favorite veggies
7. Add fresh pepper
8. Rub olive oil over the fish
9. Bake covered for 20 min at 375 degrees
10. Uncover and broil for another 5-10 min until golden on the top
11. Serve on a bed of parsley or arugula
Enjoy!!
