The Gee Way Around London

HELLO FROM LONDON!

Recently, the entire Gee family traveled to London, England.

TODAY ON THE #GEEEDIT, WE'RE GIVING YOU AN INSIDE LOOK AND SHARING WE WALKED, SHOPPED, ATE AND MORE!

Walk the park:

Head to Regent’s Park or Primrose Hill for beautiful greenery, a seat in the garden or gorgeous views of the city.

Neighborhoods:

Marylebone - walk around the area, there are incredible local shops like Daunt Books and the famous Paul Rothe & Son Deli. Eat lunch at Ottolenghi or have dinner and drinks at Chiltern Firehouse. Other favorites include Notting Hill, Hampstead, and Shoreditch.

I love to plan out some days or even just mornings and afternoons by neighbourhood, so something like a cafe, a park, a few great shops, a gallery or museum etc. That way you're being efficient and not rushing around a city. You can really get the energy of a neighbourhood this way too.” - Celene Gee
Art:

The summer exhibition at The Royal Academy is fun, vibrant, and a great place to introduce kids to art. Grab some lunch beforehand at Cecconi’s in Mayfair, right across from the RA.

Drinks + Dinner:

Check out The Dover in Mayfair. For proper fish + chips wait in line at The Mayfair Chippy’s - it's totally worth it!

Every local spot had so much character, charm and authenticity and it was so exciting experiencing it all as a family.” - Miriam Gee
Watch:

While we were in town, we all watched the England final football match (that’s soccer in England) in a proper English pub. There are some great spots around Primrose Hill like The Engineer and The Queen’s.

Our Travel Beauty Must-Haves

For Kids:

Head to the London Zoo at Regent’s Park, it's truly incredible! We also took the kids to check out The London Eye. On a more clear day, the view is so beautiful.

We also headed to Buckingham Palace to watch the Changing Of The Guards, it's was a must-not-miss for the kids' first time in London!

Thanks for following along! xx The Gees
